MEWA Annual Rate & Census Reconciliation
Within the next week or so, our mutual Georgia Chamber SMART Plan and Georgia Farm Bureau (MEWA) groups will receive an email request from mewa.io, the MEWA management system used to collect data for the Annual Rate and Census Reconciliation (ARC). Consoliplex, the plan manager, will then use this data to file their IRS Form 5500 SF. The collection period will run from June 6 to July 15, 2022. Groups with effective dates in 2022 will not be required to complete the form. It is very important that the groups provide the most accurate data for this IRS reporting purpose.
Representatives from the Georgia Chamber and Georgia Farm Bureau will be emailing all groups as well to assure them this is a legitimate email to alleviate any concerns over spam, phishing, and other cyber data issues that are unfortunately very prevalent.
Brokers/Agents with a mewa.io Broker Account can check on the completion status of their groups as well as complete the form on behalf of their client groups.
