We’ll start mailing 2022 Missouri AEC Renewal packets soon
Individual members enrolled in Anthem Enhanced Choice (AEC) health plans in Missouri will begin receiving plan renewal packets soon. Access your AEC Individual client renewal information in Producer Toolbox under Book of Business.
We expect to start mailing AEC renewal packets in late September. We will mail renewal packets to Individual plan members monthly at their renewal. They will receive their renewal packets at least 60 days before their renewal. For example, members renewing in December will receive their renewal packet in late September.
Renewing members will receive a cover letter explaining that they can maintain their coverage by continuing to make their monthly payments on time. The packet also includes a link to other AEC plans that may better meet their needs and a page with Tips for Your Health Plan Renewal.
We’ll send a letter to members who are eligible for Medicare or have turned 65 notifying them they are not eligible to renew into an AEC plan. The letter also provides the plan’s end date, instructions for choosing a new plan, and details about continuing coverage for dependents. Members will be encouraged to contact their broker or a Health Benefits Advisor for help with Medicare options.
Members who would like to move into an ACA plan can only enroll during ACA Open Enrollment.
